Most of you will remember that the 4Parishes raised funds for the 'Raise the Roof' project in La Barra Rio Grande Nicaragua. When Hurricane Ida hit last November 09 there was a massive amount of destruction to homes and surrounding crops. The Church in La Barra proved to be a welcome shelter for families who have lost everything.

The charity SIFT has been involved also with the Peace & Hope Trust in bringing some help to the people of La Barra Rio Grande and it's neighbour village Sandy Bay. I, Pete Brindley will be travelling back to Nicaragua on the 17th March for two weeks. During my time there I plan to visit La Barra and deliver as many cuddly toys as I can to the children of La Barra.
